State Championship

Due to continued growth around the state, Georgia will have two State Championship Tournaments.  One event will take place on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and the other will take place on the Campus of Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrencville.

To participate in State Championships, teams must compete in the prior events (both a Regional and a Super-Regional) and receive notification from the State Partner of their invitation (on the Tournament Assignments page) to a State Championship.

Both events are open to spectators.

Below are the location details and dates for both events and the list of teams that are qualified to participate:

Georgia Tech State Championship event date is 1-28-17 at the Clough Undergraduate Learning Center

Georgia Gwinnett College State Championship event date is 02-04-17. Details to come!

In the event of winter weather on the day of either STATE CHAMPIONSHIP please keep your eye on the facebook group and email.
If the campus hosting the competition is closed due to weather the event must be cancelled. If it is not closed then the event will proceed as scheduled.

Your team safety is always first, so if your local area is unsafe to transport the team please take the appropriate actions for their safety.
