The Georgia Institute of Technology® is the Affiliate Partner for FIRST®LEGO® League Challenge. The Georgia Tech® Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) facilitates the program for the State of Georgia and operates the State Championship event held at Georgia Tech®. Under the supervision of CEISMC, all other events (regionals, super-regionals, state championship) are operated by local hosts for the facilitation of the event.  The local event hosts are responsible for all tournament arrangements under the guidance of FIRST® LEGO® League protocols.

Announcements

Welcome to the 2024-2025 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge Submerged season!

Whether you are a first-time coach, seasoned veteran, partner host, or everyone in between we want to thank you for being a part of this amazing program! We strive to ensure everyone has a quality experience each season, and this year we are implementing several changes in alignment with that pursuit.

  • First up, a brand new website! Please take a look around as all links have changed to a new URL as well as updated information and navigational tools.
  • Next, a brand new registration system! This should streamline everything from registering a team to communicating with host sites and managing your teams' information. Check out the link below once it goes live on August 12th!
  • Regional competitions will continue to take place in December, and Super-Regional competitions will take place in January. Both the Georgia Tech and University of Georgia state competitions will take place in early February.
  • State registration fees will remain the same for the 2024-2025 season, but we anticipate a slight increase in the 2025-2026 season. Make sure to register well before November 1st to avoid price increases!
  • National registration is live! You MUST register at the national level FIRST to get your team number. Click here to get started.
